Fair Housing Case Studies

This session applies fair housing principles to real fact patterns and will cover several case studies involving a variety of common fair housing issues. Leslie will break down the issues that exist in each case study and discuss the recommended (and not-so-recommended) actions of each individual in the scenario. Session participants will have an opportunity to weigh in via survey on what the best action/response should be in each scenario, and learn from each response.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify fair housing issues and violations within a fact pattern
- Determine best course of action for compliance purposes
- Understand how fair housing principles apply to different staff positions
