CPO Certification

The CPO is recognized worldwide as the leading training standard in the swimming pool industry. Participants are trained in the most advanced techniques of chemical treatment, filtration, and mechanical system operation and maintenance. Course content will be geared directly towards state and local codes and will focus on the unique challenges facing aquatic facility operations at apartment communities.

  • April 24th - 25th

All classes run each day from 9:00am - 5:00pm EST and are held virtually.
Cost:

Member: $470/person

Non-Member: $660/person

Learning Objectives/Outcomes:
  • Participants will learn the codes, standards, regulations and best practices for swimming pools operated in the State of Indiana.
  • Participants will apply scientifically supported principles to their swimming pool operations helping them run safer and cleaner facilities.
  • Operators will learn to advance their bottom line through efficient and effective techniques.

After successful completion of the written examination, operators will receive certification and registration as a Pool/Spa Operator valid for five years.

This course is offered through the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA, formerly the NSPF) and led by Aquatic Council, LLC.
