Oversees the entire association staff and the association’s mission. Works directly with the IAA Board of Directors on all association functions, advocates on the state level for the apartment industry.
Oversees cash management and revenue collection. Monitors the recording and analysis of expenses. Prepares monthly profit and loss and financial statements for IAA, the Gorup Foundation and the political action committee.
Brandy Peak, Director of Membership & Professional Development
Oversees the professional designation programs and professional development programs, and the SAL Leadership program. Provides information about member benefits and services and coordinates membership drives and membership committee activities. Staff liaison for Ambassador and Professional Development Committee and SAL Leadership.
Plans and organizes all networking events, membership meetings, fundraisers, the PAC golf tournament and Midwest Multifamily Conference and education conference and all special events. Staff liaison for the Events Committee, Convention Committee, Golf Committee, Maintenance Planning Committee and the Young Professionals in Multifamily (YPM Committee).
Monitors local, state and regulatory agencies for proposals impacting the industry. Advocates on behalf of membership with elected officials and policy makers to promote the multifamily industry and ensure the needs of the industry are considered as policies are crafted. Staff liaison for the Legislative Committee.
Develops editorial content and oversees design of INSites magazine and the annual membership directory. Manages advertising sales and online media including the website, social media, Multifamily Minute e-newsletter, and electronic announcements.
