Bowling for Rebuilding Lives

Rebuilding Lives was founded in 2009, after a year of severe weather throughout Indiana brought devastation to our management companies, our apartment communities and our residents. The Indiana Apartment Association decided to focus a part of its philanthropic efforts on raising funds to assist our industry in times of need.

Over the last ten years, Rebuilding Lives has provided assistance to over 600 units affected by natural disasters. In 2019 alone, IAA’s Rebuilding Lives was able to help more than 65 individuals and 20 families.

The theme for this year’s event will be football! Prizes will be given for: Best decorated lane, individual highest and lowest series!

Maintenance Mania

Maintenance Mania is an action-packed competition dedicated to the hardworking maintenance staff in the multifamily industry. Join IAA for the Maintenance Mania competition, followed by a social hour where the game winners and Maintenance Appreciation Awards winners will be presented. Competitors and cheerleaders will enjoy seven industry-related challenges designed to test your skills and knowledge.

The seven challenges to prove your maintenance skills during the Maintenance Mania competition include:

2022 Maintenance Appreciation Awards

For the sixth year, IAA is promoting five maintenance-focused award categories during the Maintenance Appreciation and Maintenance Mania awards program in March at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The Maintenance Appreciation Awards were created to recognize excellence and leadership in the maintenance sector of the multifamily industry. These awards celebrate the hard work these individuals do on a daily basis. Award nominations are open to any maintenance staff even if they are not participating in the Maintenance Mania games.

 Reverse Trade Show

The Reverse Trade Show is a highly effective business networking event that provides the opportunity for attendees to meet with owners and key decision-makers from property management companies.

How it works: From 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm, there will be a cocktail reception with owner and management participants. From 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, owners and management executives will be seated at tables, and you will have an opportunity to meet with these decision-makers in seven-minute intervals over the two-hour session. Your initial appointment will be assigned. After the initial assigned appointment, you will be able to meet with as many decision-makers in seven-minute intervals as time allows.

The Reverse Trade Show format gives you the opportunity to have face-to-face conversations with buyers from management companies representing over 104,700 units across the state of Indiana…and our list is growing.

The PAC Golf Classic is a fundraising event hosted by the Indiana Apartment Association to benefit the Indiana Multifamily Housing Political Action Committee (IMFHPAC). The IMFHPAC is the apartment industry’s Political Action Committee (PAC). The PAC is used to support candidates for local and state offices who demonstrate a pro-business approach to government and are considered supportive of particular apartment industry positions. The IMFHPAC strengthens the apartment industry’s overall legislative effectiveness. These efforts have helped members save thousands of dollars by defeating unnecessary industry regulations. IAA continues to be the ONLY organization lobbying on behalf of the apartment industry. Supporting the PAC is a way for all companies to keep the lobbying efforts of IAA strong. Several IAA members from the central Indiana area will be there for an afternoon filled with networking and fun, and you don’t want to miss out. Part of the proceeds benefit Rebuilding Lives, a campaign that supports members of the Indiana Apartment Association throughout the state of Indiana by providing assistance to residents who have been affected by natural disasters.
