Bowling for Rebuilding Lives

Thank you to everyone who made Bowling for Rebuilding Lives on February 21 a success. Click here to see photos from the event on the IAA Facebook.

Rebuilding Lives was founded in 2009, after a year of severe weather throughout Indiana brought devastation to our management companies, our apartment communities and our residents. The Indiana Apartment Association decided to focus a part of its philanthropic efforts on raising funds to assist our industry in times of need. Our mission statement is as follows:

Rebuilding Lives supports members of the Indiana Apartment Association throughout the state of Indiana by providing assistance to residents who have been affected by natural disasters.

A portion of the 2018 proceeds are being donated to the Ronald McDonald House to help those families who are rebuilding their lives as they battle a childhood illness.

Save the date for February 13, 2019, for the next Bowling for Rebuilding Lives fundraiser!

The IMFHPAC is the apartment industry’s Political Action Committee (PAC). The PAC is used to support candidates for local and state offices who demonstrate a pro business approach to government and are considered supportive of particular apartment industry positions. The IMFHPAC strengthens the apartment industry’s overall legislative effectiveness. These efforts have helped members save thousands of dollars by defeating unnecessary industry regulations. IAA continues to be the ONLY organization lobbying on behalf of the apartment industry. Supporting the PAC is a way for all companies to keep the lobbying efforts of IAA strong.  Reverse Trade Show

naapaclogo

This event raises money for the National Apartment Association Political Action Committee. This fundraiser is a highly effective business networking event that allows you the opportunity to meet one on one with owners and decision makers from property management companies. Vendors have the opportunity to have immediate contact with buyers on both the management and development/construction aspect of management companies representing more than 100,000 units across the state.

While the proceeds from the event benefit the National Apartment Association Political Action Committee, a portion of the money will come back to the Indiana Multi Family Housing Political Action Committee to spend on Indiana Members of Congress.

IMFHPAC is IAA’s nonpartisan political action committee that invests in candidates who are supportive of industry issues and are pro-business legislators. These funds aid in the election of candidates whose legislative voting records and/or positions on multifamily issues will enhance the business climate in Indiana. The IMFHPAC enables corporations and individuals to pool their political contributions and support candidates which help further IAA’s legislative objectives. A collective effort allows for visibility and access to candidates.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2018 Reverse Trade Show a success!
