2020 Power Lunch series

The Power Lunch is both a networking opportunity and a refreshing chance to learn from accomplished leaders as IAA brings speakers throughout the year to help motivate you and your staff.

January Power Lunch Featuring Harvey Alston

Be the Best

What does it mean to Be the Best?  We hear it a lot but how do we get there? Hear how individual responsibility for achievement improves spirits, spurs growth, and changes lives.  Harvey’s powerful, soul-searching presentation uplifts people to a higher standard – to a level where people strive only for the BEST.

Attendees will learn:

  • To desire to perform better at their employment
  • Ways to demonstrate how to be more effective as a good leader
  • Understanding why you should be responsible and ethical in your field
  • Goals to become a better leader

About Harvey Alston:

Harvey Alston is considered one of the most dynamic, “high octane” speakers in America. He travels the country spreading his powerful, soul-searching presentations that uplift audiences to a higher standard and level where they strive only for the best.  People walk away from Harvey Alston’s presentations knowing they have just heard someone who “has been around the track a few times” and one who shares it in a way that people do not forget. He has the courage it takes to remind people that life is only what they make it, that self-respect does not come with the job, but is brought to the job by people who do the best. Currently, he is the author of the book titled Be the Best which is the philosophy for his enterprise Best Inc. He is the Coordinator for the Ohio High School Athletic Association Student Leadership Conferences, on the advisory board to the National Federation of High Schools, the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School and many civic boards, panels, and commissions, a contributing writer and photographer for the N2Publishing Magazines, and a member of the National Speakers Association.
