It’s 2019 – Is Housing Fair Yet?

Be prepared to enjoy yourself, as the presenter plans to lighten up the very serious topic of fair housing during this fast paced, interactive program. Presented in practical and easy to understand terms, this program promises something for all property management employees and will be full of fair housing do’s and don’ts for all levels of property management. The topics are current and wide ranging, including an explanation of why it is now necessary to talk to residents when processing requests for reasonable accommodations; how to address requests for emotional support animals; what to do when the animal becomes a problem;  how to be communicate with the public through marketing, your website, and social media; the necessity for effective preparation to terminate a problem resident; a check list of necessary fair housing policies, procedures, and forms, and much more. The trainer is an attorney with more than 35 years’ experience in the fair housing arena. She’ll bring lots of examples and case studies from the multitude of cases she has handled during her career.
